Opel was a rock band from Hamar, which was formed in 2003, and had several catchy songs such as "Motion Explosion". The band has released a CD in collaboration with The Soulshake Express, where the two bands had five songs each. Opel received Popmaxprisen for best live band in 2004 The band retired in 2007 after four years, as announced in Hamar Arbeiderblad 8 March 2007.
